The Rose & Ram Knit Shop & Studio is a warm and inviting
place to experience the best in fiber arts. Located in a turn of
the century brick building in historic Independence, Oregon,
The Rose and Ram invites you to visit and explore the color,
texture and creative possibilities which exist within its walls. In
addition, the shop offers friendship and a sense of community in
a way that is lost all too often in our hectic lives.
Proprietor, Jan Johnson, greets all who walk through the door
with a smile. Madison, the part time shop-dog may approach to
offer her version of a guided tour.
Knitters, crocheters and spinners with various interests,
backgrounds and abilities are invited to drop by. Those who
know what they want can pick up their items and be on their
way. But the majority of customers find themselves drawn to
tarry a bit and spend time in the relaxing atmosphere.
